Meet The Board:

Chairperson:
Becky Dan is a Nashville, TN resident who volunteers as an Officer on the Board of Directors for the Granting Dreams Foundation and currently serves in the capacity of Chairperson.

Her professional career has included several years as the marketing and promotion manager for various network television stations throughout the Southeast. Currently she is the marketing manager for Stites & Harbison, a Southeast regional law firm with eight offices in five states. Becky also serves as a volunteer puppy raiser and area coordinator for Southeastern Guide Dogs, an organization that provides guide dogs free-of-charge to blind individuals. Last fall, she founded “Seedlings in the City” a group of volunteers who plant trees in Nashville neighborhoods.

Becky is a native of Danville, Kentucky, and a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University.

Derek Henrichs

Derek is a Staff Auditor for the Hospital Company of America (HCA), the nation's leading provider of healthcare services with over 160 hospitals. He has held this position since March 2010, in whicth he helps analyze operations within the revenue cycle of the healthcare industry along with other process improvement projects. Previously, he interned with Schneider-Electric as a Financial Analyst, providing routine reports and various ad-hoc requests in order to support the residential mnarketing segment of the company. Earlier in his non-profit career, he held various accounting positions at the are non-propfit CrossBridge,, Inc., in addition to his home church, Trevecca Community Church of the Nazarene. Derek is still an active member of the church volunteering within the youth group. He is also actively involved with sports in the community coaching children's basketball and soccer teams. 

Derek received his Bachelor's of Business Administration in Accounting from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, TN, graduating Summa cum Laude, and being invited to become a member of the Phi Delta Lambda Zeta Chapter (Honor Society).


Board Members: 

Robert Craig Stephens has over 20 years of experience in organizational management and is a graduate from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. He has developed and marketed products that have earned him an excellent reputation in the corporate and advertising communities for youth and family-oriented programs and television specials as well as special events management. Stephens has worked with such corporate giants as Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club, AT&T, Chrysler, FILA, General Motors, Exxon/Mobil, Motorola, and SONY.

Stephens is currently a Senior Development Officer at a premiere training institution for doctors and dentists. He works directly with the Dean of the School of Medicine to support funding efforts for research as well as a newly created Center for Women’s Health Research, a state of the art research facility committed to eliminating health disparities. Stephens also serves as Associate Publisher of Heart & Soul Magazine, a nation’s leading health and fitness magazine for where he managed sales and marketing operations as well as strategic planning. He served as President of the non-profit organization, Times Community Services. Additionally, Stephens received his Master Trainer certification with Communities in Schools, the nation’s leading non-profit dealing with youth development and education issues around dropout prevention.

One of Stephens’ notable projects is a motivational lecture series hosted by Malik Yoba, star of Tyler Perry’s “Why Did I get Married” and Fox’s New York Undercover. Stephens has also represented the MBC Network, a cable venture devoted to spiritual and family-values television programming that is owned in part by philanthropist, Willie Gary, Jackson 5 member, Marlon Jackson, and boxing champion, Evander Holyfield.

Stephens was co-founder and Sr. Vice President of Career Communications Group (CCG), a Baltimore-based company which publishes magazines, sponsors engineering and science conferences, as well as produces television specials. He also produced a television series, syndicated in more than 100 markets, for Black and Hispanic students that profiled minority role models in the fields of math, science, and engineering pointing students in a positive direction toward success. Stephens has won many awards as Executive Producer for this television series. In September of 1995, Stephens also received the prestigious M.O.B.E. Clyde Award, presented for excellence in entrepreneurship.


Sandy Wade-Johnson is a former resident of Chicago who now lives in Nashville with her family. She is an Organizational Development Consultant, with a background in strategy and corporate education.  Sandy is currently employed as a Senior Instructional Designer where she is responsible for creating and maintaining instructor-led and computer based training material. Sandy was previously employed as a Senior Technical Writer.  Sandy has also lived in the Washington, D.C area and has extensive government experience having worked as a defense contractor for the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Customs, Department of Navy, and the FBI.

Sandy holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Fisk University and a master’s degree in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University.  She is an active member of several professional organizations including the Society for Human Resource Management, the Society for Industrial/Organizational Psychologists, and the American Society for Training and Development.

Sandy likes to support foundations and non-profit organizations that inspire and give hope to those who need it most.  Sandy’s recent involvement in the community includes support for initiatives with the Ronald McDonald House and the American Red Cross.  Having worked in the healthcare industry and understanding life threatening medical conditions and the treatment associated with it,  Sandy believes wholeheartedly in both the message and purpose of the Granting Dreams Foundation and is honored to serve on its board of directors and contribute to such an amazing effort dedicated to serving and bringing joy to others.   


Crystal Davis is an Account Executive who is responsible for conducting research, writing and gathering information of interest for clients. Her areas of expertise are social media, community relations, and advertising.

Davis also has extensive sales experience. Her previous experience includes working in real estate development where she was responsible for sales and marketing of a major $275 million dollar project, which included 400 luxury residential units.

A graduate of Middle Tennessee State University, Davis holds a Masters in Mass Communication and B.S. degree in Liberal Arts with a concentration in Marketing & Communications. She began her career as an intern at Verity Records, a division of Sony/BMG and is currently a member of Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. She currently does independent consulting and project management work as well.

Crystal Davis is a native of Tennessee.




A licensed make-up artist for nearly 15 years, Natasha joins Granting Dreams Foundation from Neiman Marcus in Chevy Chase, MD where she specializes in and serves as the Business Manager for Bobbi Brown Cosmetics. As a premiere make-up artist and specialist, she has worked with members of Bobbi Brown’s top ten beauty team. Each member of this team is hand-picked by Bobbi to travel with her and represent the company across the country.

Companies for which Natasha has worked include Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom, where she has received numerous Customer Service awards; all evidence of her objective to give the best and highest service to all with whom she consults. Her goal is to teach and empower women to be confident in applying make-up for everyday, as well as special events, in a way that makes them feel comfortable and project their best image.

She routinely consults both with Neiman Marcus and privately with clients and would be honored to contribute her time and resources to help fulfill the dreams of those very special dream- seekers whom Granting Dreams serves.

Perry served as the Community and Public Relations Coordinator for one of Nashville's largest corporations serving as the chief coordinator for sponsorships and special events such as federal, state and local recognition of facilities, community outreach events and grassroots initiative. He also coordinated internal, public and media relations efforts and worked closely with members of the Trust Fund committees and management. Among other achievements, Perry also created a volunteer policy and tracking system, and implemented a computer donation program. For a short time, Perry also worked with the VP of a major corporate client in Washington, DC.

Perry has received a number of awards and has been involved on a volunteer basis with Big Brother Big Sisters of Middle Tennessee. Perry has a B.S. Degree in English Journalism from Tennessee Technological University as well as his MPS in Strategic Leadership from Tennessee State University.
