Publisher Helps With A Unique Dream

I would like to thank Granting Dreams and West Bow Print for allowing me realize an amazing dream

In April of this year, I was diagnosed with recurring breast cancer. My first diagnosis was in 2008. Having worked at a cancer center, I know that recurring in such a short time, (less than 3 years) is not a good thing.

I began to think of the legacy I will leave behind. Since I'm a children's book writer and illustrator, I decided I'd like to leave a literary legacy. I've written a book called, "The Lizard In The Laundry".

I contacted the Granting Dreams Foundation and this was my request, "I'd like to have a publisher publish my book, with a portion of the books going to children who are facing life threatening illnesses, and a portion of the book's proceeds to go to Granting Dreams Foundation to help other people's dreams come true."

To make a long story short, Granting Dreams actively pursued my dream. Thomas Nelson Publishing Company agreed to publish my book through their subsidiary company, WestBow Press. The book's publishing project was just recently completed and a press release just sent out about my story and the book.
